Signature Nomato Sauce
This nightshade-free 'Nomato' sauce is the cornerstone of an anti-inflammatory kitchen. Rich, savory, and packed with vitamins, it provides the familiar comfort of traditional tomato sauce without the flares.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb carrots (peeled/chopped)
- 1 large beet (peeled/chopped)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup bone broth or water
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- salt/herbs to taste
Instructions:
Saute onions and garlic. Add carrots, beets, and broth. Simmer until soft (about 20 mins). Blend until smooth. Stir in vinegar and seasonings.
